How is exact age calculated?▾

Exact age counts completed calendar years, months, and days between your birth date and today. The algorithm first subtracts full years, then full months from the remainder, then remaining days — accounting for variable month lengths (28/29/30/31 days) and leap years. This differs from simply dividing total days by 365.25 because calendar months are not uniform.

How many days have I lived?▾

Total days lived = today minus birth date, counting every calendar day including the birth day. A 36-year-old born on a non-leap birthday has lived approximately 36 x 365.25 = 13,149 days. Leap years add one extra day every 4 years, so the exact count varies by birth year.

What is the life percentage calculation?▾

Life percentage = your age in years divided by reference life expectancy, times 100. The global average life expectancy is approximately 73 years (WHO 2024 data). For the UAE, life expectancy is approximately 79 years. A 36-year-old has used 36/73 = 49.3% of the global average.
